The Stratford Festival is North America’s leading repertory theatre. Established in 1953 under the guidance of the legendary Tyrone Guthrie, the Festival, now in its 67th season, is led by Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino. In 2020 the company will present fifteen plays in four spaces. Rehearsals commence in early February; preview performances begin mid-April; the first round of productions open towards the end of May; the season plays through until the middle of November. This season we celebrate the opening of the
newly-inspired Tom Patterson Theatre on the banks of the Avon River.
In her 32nd season with the Festival, Janine is thrilled to be serving the coaching team that she once led. In addition to coaching on Three Tall Women and Wolf Hall, Janine also teaches for the Michael Langham Workshop for Classical Direction, the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training, and, at the request of the artistic leadership is thrilled to undertake a national research project to survey actor training, with the goal of guiding planning for the Festival's future artistic development initiatives.
